8-9:45 a.m. pre-ride registration at the South Daytona Police Department, 1672 S. Ridgewood Ave. 10 a.m. kickstands up, with stops at New Smyrna Half Wall Restaurant & Brewery, the DeLand Police Department, Teddy Morse’s Harley Davidson in Destination Daytona and the Piggotte Community Center, 504 Big Tree Road, South Daytona. All types of vehicles are welcome. Quartier, age 13, was the beautiful daughter of retired Capt. Doug Quartier when she lost her battle with brain cancer July 16, 2007. Hosted by the South Daytona Citizens Alert Council, South Daytona Lions Club and the South Daytona Police Department, with proceeds benefiting numerous local charities, programs and foundations. Lunch will be served after the ride, with the opportunity to win exciting door prizes. A $20 donation for each participant is appreciated. Advance registration is encouraged.
