Park at the Equestrian Center, 321 Pleasant St. Events include a Watercraft Race (entry fee $50); no motorized boats allowed. For age 10 and older. Bring your own craft, or rent one. Waivers must be signed. Life jackets are a must. Children must be under adult supervision; text Joy at 813-808-1817 to enter. 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Shoreline fishing contest for all ages, divided into age groups; prizes for largest and smallest fish; entry fee: $1 for children age 17 and younger; $5 adults. Proceeds will support improvements made to the park. Benefits Lake Helen Lake projects — educational signage, kayak rental machine.
