Lake Helen Annual Turkey Shoot

6:30-9 p.m. behind Mitchell Brothers Sports Complex, 691 Pleasant St., Lake Helen. Hosted by the Lake Helen Police Department. This is a shotgun-only affair with 10 shooters lined up, aiming at paper targets (not live turkeys), trying to get the closest pellet to the mark to win the turkey (gift card). You can bring your own shotgun, or you can use one provided. Each round costs $3. All ammunition is provided; you do not bring your own. Call 386-228-2121.
