Lake Helen Christmas Parade and Holiday Gala

Parade lineup starts at 3 p.m. The parade begins at 4 p.m. at Fox Glass Co. Inc. at 520 W. Main St., heads north on Summit Avenue, goes east on New York Avenue, turns south on Lakeview Drive, goes east on Ohio Avenue, and ends at Blake Park (where the Holiday Gala will take place), 493 S. Lakeview Drive. The gala includes craft and food vendors; a chance to meet Santa; a special performance by the Tommy Mac Band; and Christmas-tree lighting at 6 p.m. You can catch a ride on the Butler Express 6-9 p.m. at the Lake Helen Equestrian Center, 321 Pleasant St. For more information, call Karen at 305-393-0682.
