Mayor’s Gala

Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry will host. Proceeds will benefit the First Step Shelter. The event will celebrate the first four years of the shelter’s success, honor community partners, and fundraise for the shelter’s future.  

Honorees this year include John Hamlin, of Hamlin and Associates, the gala’s presenting sponsor, and awardees Rose Ann Tornatore, the Port Orange Elks, and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The theme is “Old Hollywood Glamour,” with Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chan impersonators and a Rat Pack tribute band and singers, who will be crooning and bringing laughs reminiscent of a bygone era.
