Opening Reception for the 2023 ‘Poetic Visions’ Exhibition and Poetry Competition

The poetry contest sought original pieces by area poets prompted by 40 different works of art from the Museum of Art – DeLand’s permanent collection. A panel of judges will curate a selection of the submitted poems (one poem per piece of artwork) to be displayed next to the piece, as well as published in the 2023 Poetic Visions Anthology. From March 31 to May 14, the museum-going public will have a chance to view and vote on the selected poems alongside the artwork they represent. Admission: $10; free for museum members.
