Osteen Local Plan Workshop

5-7 p.m. in the Osteen Elementary School cafeteria, 500 Doyle Road. Volusia County’s Planning and Development Services Division is hosting this interactive community workshop where residents are encouraged to provide their views on the Osteen Local Plan, which was based on a 2008 joint planning agreement between Volusia County and the City of Deltona to address growth in the Osteen area. This workshop revisits local plans in the Volusia County Comprehensive Plan for the next evaluation and appraisal report required by the State of Florida. All residents are welcome to attend, share their feedback, and offer suggestions on how the Osteen Local Plan can be improved. Free. Call 386-736-5920.
