Oyster Ecology Paddle

9-11 a.m. at Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve, 90 Divito Drive, New Smyrna Beach. Paddle through Strickland Bay, and discover what makes oysters such an important part of the ecosystem. For age 10 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. Paddlers must bring their watercraft, a personal flotation device such as a life jacket, and a whistle, and wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet. Free. Registration is mandatory.
