9-11 a.m. at Longleaf Pine Preserve, 4551 Pioneer Trail, New Smyrna Beach. Longleaf Pine Preserve is home to some threatened and endangered species. Discover why these species are listed and what Volusia County is doing to protect them. All ages are welcome. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors, and bring water, sunscreen and bug spray. Free. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver.
