The training is appropriate for employees in the lawn-care, pest-control and landscape industries, as well as city and county parks, planning, environmental management and water-quality staff. It is a requirement for the limited urban fertilizer license. Instructors will teach environmentally safe landscaping practices that help conserve and protect Florida’s ground and surface waters. Specific topics include formulations and environmental influences on plant growth and development. The $70 registration fee includes lunch.
