‘United Against Hate’ Meeting

There will be presentations by representatives of three distinguished community organizations: Roger Handberg of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, Dr. Joel Hunter, chair of the Central Florida Pledge, and Marc McMurrin, president and CEO of the Ginsburg Family Foundation. They will share information about how to address increases in hate speech and hate crimes that have been on the rise in communities across the country. Joined by the West Volusia NAACP and the Volusia County African American Leadership Council. The Central Florida Pledge is about our community’s commitment to eliminating racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of intolerance. Free.
