Volunteer and Learn – Beach Cleanup

Join Volusia County’s Environmental Management staff for a beach cleanup the day after Labor Day. The group will pick up plastics and other small debris that are dangerous for wildlife. Participants will learn about washback sea turtles and the importance of the wrack line, linear piles of marine debris that get washed up on the beach from incoming waves and tides. Free.
