Volunteer and Learn – Jetty Cleanup

Celebrate Manatee Appreciation Day by volunteering at Lighthouse Point Park. Participants will pick up trash from the jetty and park after learning about manatees and the threats they face, including fishing-line entanglement. By removing discarded line and trash from the jetty, volunteers will provide a cleaner and safer environment for manatees and other wildlife. There is a daily entrance fee of $10 per vehicle for those who do not have a pass. Registration is required; call 386-736-5927.
