Volusia County Fair and Youth Show Senior & Student Day

1 p.m. gates open at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, 3150 E. New York Ave. (East State Road 44), DeLand. 2 p.m. midway opens. Concert by Joe Reid and Heartland at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. free with gate admission. 6 p.m. Market Swine Show in the Townsend Livestock Pavilion. $2 ride night. Gate admission: $10 for senior citizens age 55 and older until 7 p.m.; $5 for students age 18 and younger with proper ID 4-7 p.m.; free for children age 5 and under with an adult. Free parking.
