11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Volusia County Agricultural Center, 3100 E. New York Ave., DeLand. Learn the art of sourdough bread-making from scratch. Participants will learn how to make their own starter and how to shape and bake the perfect loaf. There will also be instruction on sourdough discard, a byproduct of the bread-making process, and how to repurpose this valuable ingredient into tasty treats.
