Winds Of August Poetry Slam

2-6 p.m at the Thin Man Watts Amphitheater, 322 S. Clara Ave., DeLand.
A poetry slam and open mic competition with prizes.
CDC COVID-19 protocols for outdoor events will be in place. Proof of vaccination or the wearing of a mask at all times will be mandatory. No one will be admitted without a temperature check. Everyone will be required to properly social distance. If you do not have proof of vaccination, you will be required to keep your mask on at all times for the duration of the event. Exceptions will include briefly removing your mask to take food or refreshment or briefly removing your mask to perform. Sanitizer and wipes will be available. We will use multiple mics and each will be sanitized after each and every use.
