Lake Helen Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

Parade lineup at 9 a.m. at Summit and New York avenues. 

Parade begins at 10 a.m. and ends at Blake Park, 

493 S. Lakeview Drive, with festivities beginning at 11 a.m., including live music by Blu Highway; food trucks; games; a slip and slide; watermelon-eating contest and more. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Pierson July Fourth Family Fun Celebration

‘Freedom Fest’

6-10:30 p.m. at Gemini Springs Park, 37 Dirksen Drive, DeBary. 

Two stages of live entertainment; a kids’ area; food vendors. Coordinated activities and vendors will shut down by 9 p.m. A fireworks and laser display choreographed to music begins at approximately 9 p.m. After the fireworks and laser show, stage entertainment will resume until 10:30 p.m.

Friday, July 5

Military Appreciation Night

5-8 p.m. Throughout Downtown DeLand. Show your patriotic spirit and honor our heroes by dressing up in red, white and blue. Downtown shops will be open late to collect cash donations for Parachutes for Patriots, a local nonprofit dedicated to hosting veterans and their families for a weekend of community, camaraderie, and adaptive skydiving.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series

Featuring the U.S. Bee Gees: A Tribute to the Bee Gees.
