The AdventHealth Deltona ER construction is 80 percent complete as of mid-October and on track to open in December.

Located near Deltona High School at 3108 Howland Blvd., the AdventHealth Deltona ER will offer comprehensive emergency services, including imaging and laboratory services for both adults and children.

The architect is Orlando-based HuntonBrady, and the contractor is Batson-Cook. AdventHealth expects to hire approximately 40 full-time employees to staff the $12 million free-standing emergency department.

A ribbon-cutting and community celebration are scheduled at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3. Attendees will enjoy a tour of the new facility along with food and games.
