The DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce & Orange City Alliance has announced the addition of Kelley Harrell as member-services specialist.

Harrell brings more than 30 years’ experience in nonprofit senior management leadership, community outreach, fundraising, public relations and events management.

She began her career as assistant director of financial development with the American Red Cross in Palm Beach County, later moving to the Central Florida area in the role of public-relations director for the Florida Coast to Coast Chapter.

Prior to joining the Chamber’s team, Harrell held the position of senior development manager of the March of Dimes Orlando Market, and previously served as executive director of market development for Northern Alabama and senior community director of Volusia, Flagler and Lake counties.

While serving in the Orlando market, she was responsible for special events such as Orlando March for Babies and Orlando Signature Chefs Auction.

Harrell and her husband, Michael, have been residents of Orange City for more than 24 years.
