Volusia County government’s weekly public-information radio program is moving to a new day.

Volusia Today, which has aired live for years Tuesday mornings on Daytona Beach radio station WNDB, is moving to Fridays at 8:30 a.m. The program highlights county programs and services, and community events.

The first show in the new time slot was Sept. 10. The guests included Volusia County Animal Services Director Adam Leath and Sandy Falcon, manager of the county’s Lyonia Environmental Center in Deltona.

WNDB can be found at 93.5 on the FM dial and 1150 on the AM dial. The weekly program also is rebroadcast at 5 a.m. Sundays on WKRO 93.1 FM and WVYB 103.3 FM, at 6:30 a.m. Sundays on WHOG 95.7 FM, and at 8:30 a.m. Mondays on WSBB 1230 AM in New Smyrna Beach.
