The Museum of Art – DeLand is pleased to announce that Martha Underriner has joined its staff as associate curator of education.
Underriner is an artist and educator based in DeLand. Currently completing her M.F.A. in studio art from the University of Florida, she received her Master of Art Education degree from Texas Tech in 2015, in addition to her B.F.A. from the University of North Texas in 2008.
Underriner has been an art educator for 13 years and has taught at all levels in pre-K through 12th grade, as well as at the university level. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at Stetson University and also is a co-curator at Still Life With Fruit Gallery in DeLand.
