natural woman carole king tribute deland

Mark Wednesday, May 4, as “One Fine Day” on your calendar, and be sure to order tickets now before “It’s Too Late” for your chance to say “I Feel the Earth Move under my feet,” when Natural Woman: A Tribute to Carole King, weaves an unmissable “Tapestry” of King’s songs at the historic Athens Theatre in DeLand.

This is Orlando songstress Katie Pinder Brown’s moving tribute to Carole King, and it begins at 7:30 p.m. May 4.

If you missed the smash Broadway run of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, it’s not too late to get many of the same thrills here in Central Florida, where “[It’s Not] So Far Away.”

Katie’s warm, soulful voice and virtuoso piano backed by her all-female band will have the audience singing, clapping and dancing in the aisles to such favorites as “Where You Lead,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Up on the Roof” and many, many more.

Katie Pinder Brown and her terrific band will perform Natural Woman: A Tribute to Carole King, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, in the historic Athens Theatre, 124 N. Florida Ave. in Downtown DeLand. Don’t miss it.

Tickets cost $35 for preferred reserved seating (first six rows orchestra and two rows center balcony), and $30 for general reserved seating. A $3-per-ticket processing charge and 6.5-percent sales tax will be added to each purchase.

All tickets are available online at the Athens Theatre website (www.AthensDeLand.com), or by calling the box office at 386-736-1500. Box-office hours are 1-5 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, and 1 1/2 hours before live performances.
