Local husband-and-wife business owner duo Mike and Suzanne Kelly are celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their Orange City Firehouse Subs restaurant, located at 2499-L Enterprise Road.
According to the company’s website, the Kellys were the first franchisees to bring a Firehouse Subs restaurant to Central Florida with the opening of their Lake Mary restaurant in 2002.
The Kellys are dedicated to sharing the brand’s commitment to giving back through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation®, which has granted more than $1.6 million in greater Orlando. A portion of every purchase at any Firehouse Subs in the U.S. benefits the foundation, allowing the foundation to achieve its mission of providing lifesaving equipment and resources to first responders and public safety organizations across the country.
Just last fall, the DeLand Fire Department received new equipment thanks to a grant from the foundation.
