A DeLand police officer was directed to a house in DeLand at about 8 on a Saturday night. At that location, a 47-year-old man told the officer that his 34-year old girlfriend had woken him up by screaming at him regarding the fact that she’d been hit by a car.

He said she “was angry that he was sleeping when she was hit by the vehicle and not there to help her.”

Bewildered Boyfriend told Angry Girlfriend that he didn’t know she’d been hit by a car, and he asked her why she didn’t call the police. “[T]his made [Angry Girlfriend] angrier, at which time she grabbed a frying pan and hit [Bewildered Boyfriend] with it on the shin area of his left leg.”

The two lovebirds got into a quarrel, and Angry Girlfriend continued threatening Bewildered Boyfriend with the frying pan.

After a while, Angry Girlfriend put down the cooking utensil and left the residence.

The police officer noted that Bewildered Boyfriend “had a laceration on his left shin and a large contusion.” The officer searched for Angry Girlfriend in the area but couldn’t find her.

Bewildered Boyfriend made it clear he didn’t want to press charges, and said Angry Girlfriend is carrying his child.

I have no details about the car that supposedly hit Angry Girlfriend.
