While it was originally slated to end with the 2022 race, the ME STRONG 5K is still going strong, and registration is open for the 2023 race. Thanks to Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute and the Rotary Clubs of West Volusia County, the racers will run through Downtown DeLand Saturday, Feb. 4.
“The five Rotary Clubs of West Volusia, in partnership with Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation, are excited to keep the mission of ME STRONG alive and running,” ME STRONG Marketing Chair Kendrick Thomas said. “We encourage everyone to register before the January 4th registration price increase.”
Registration currently costs $30, but after Jan. 4 that price will increase to $35. All of the money raised by the race will remain in the community and benefit local cancer patients.
