Local businesses Steve’s Downtown Music and Groovy Records drew crowds of people for the annual Record Store Day April 20 in Downtown DeLand.
For Record Store Day, local music stores stock up rarer merchandise, allowing patrons to access a wider variety of records that the store usually doesn’t carry.

Q: What is Record Store Day about?
A: “It’s about all people, coming together and getting their favorite music.”
Q: What would you tell someone who’s new to collecting vinyl or music in general?
A: “Start small, a smaller, older band, then get someone new and work up from there.”
