By popular demand, the Eagles tribute band The Long Run will return to the Athens Theatre in DeLand Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. Having first graced the Athens stage in 2012, the band returns to larger and larger houses each time, as the word has spread about their authentic Eagles sound and their outstanding performances.

Made up of Florida’s finest and most respected musicians, the band reproduces the sound that made The Eagles one of the most successful musical groups in rock ’n’ roll history.

The Long Run captures the energy, guitar technique and vocal harmonies of The Eagles, with five voices blending together that will please even the most critical of Eagles fans.

As a special treat for the Athens audience, The Long Run is joining forces with The Brass Evolution. The Eagles Farewell Tour was used as the primary guide for the arrangements of The Long Run, and one of the most exciting features of the Farewell Tour was the addition of a Tower of Power type of horn section.

The Long Run will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 17 and 18 at the historic Athens Theatre, 124 N. Florida Ave. in Downtown DeLand.
