A prominent Daytona Beach law firm with an office in DeLand recently added four attorneys to its roster. Cobb Cole now has a total of 19 partners and associates on staff.

For nearly 100 years since its founding in 1925, Cobb Cole has provided a wide variety of legal services for businesses and individuals. The additions will complement those services.

The new hires are Nika Hosseini, an environmental and land use attorney; Sara E. Glover, who solely practices family law; Sydney Cichon, who practices litigation; and Joseph Cottingham, a business and corporate law attorney.

All four will have a presence in the firm’s DeLand office, said David Kendall, Cobb Cole’s chief operating officer.

“Nika is working primarily out of the DeLand office,” Kendall said. “Sara works in both offices and schedules regular days in the DeLand office. Joseph and Sydney primarily work in the Daytona office, but set appointments in DeLand.”

Hosseini was born in Ormond Beach and attended Spruce Creek High School, according to her bio on www.CobbCole.com. She later attended the University of Miami. After graduating cum laude and with departmental honors in ecosystem science and policy from Miami, Hosseini enrolled at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated with highest honors.

Hosseini enjoys working on her own established foundation, which provides accessible and clean drinking water to Kiburara, Uganda.

Glover’s online bio states that she is an established attorney, practicing solely in the area of family law. Glover represents her clients in all areas of family law, including dissolution of marriage, child support and timesharing, alimony, modifications, enforcements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, dependency and termination of parental rights, domestic violence, asset protection, jurisdictional challenges, paternity, stepparent adoptions, and related appeals.

Glover attended Auburn University, where she obtained a degree in political science, then Florida Coastal School of Law, where she earned a certificate in family law. She has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers.

Cichon was born and raised in Ormond Beach and graduated with honors from Seabreeze High School, her bio says. She later attended the University of North Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in psychology. Cichon then attended the Florida International University College of Law, where she was on the dean’s list.

Cottingham attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, according to his bio. After graduating, Cottingham was a Teaching Fellow in Colombia, South America.

Cottingham then attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Later, he interned for Justice Michael P. Boggs of the Supreme Court of Georgia and for Judge John J. Goger of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia.
