Beginning on approximately April 25th, residents can expect sections of Lakeshore Drive in front of the Lakeshore Boat Ramp to be closed to vehicle traffic. The Lakeshore Loop Trail in the same location will be closed to pedestrian access as well. There will also be signage advising the public of these closures.
This is due to scheduled construction for the Lake Monroe River Intake Project. The City of Deltona is working with Mead & Hunt, on this water reclamation project on the north shore of Lake Monroe.
