Editor, The Beacon:

Kudos to the city and/or county for installing the sidewalk along East Plymouth Avenue, north of DeLand High School.

This missing section of sidewalk meant walking in the street or through mud and weeds.

I know that I will enjoy the new sidewalk, as will many other recreational walkers, and also students at the school.
