I am endorsing Mr. Al Bouie for the Volusia County School Board District 1 position, and I’m asking that the community support his candidacy, too.
Mr. Bouie is the most effective and practical fit for the position. He will help move our schools forward toward inclusivity.
Al Bouie is indeed my personal choice, rather than Jamie Haynes. The School Board is not about family passing the position, entitlement and self-proclaimed “ownership” of a seat.
I’m providing my endorsement for Mr. Bouie from my position as a 26-year Army veteran and educator. I appreciate you and the community for joining me with your support by voting on Nov. 8 for Mr. Bouie.
