Editor, The Beacon:

In The Beacon of Oct. 20-26, it was reported that they are thinking of tearing down the Bank of America on North Woodland and replacing it with a large apartment building, and moving the Bank of America across the street.

I truly feel that it will ruin the small-town quaintness of DeLand. They are building housing development on every square inch of available land. Leave cute Downtown DeLand alone!
